In Parliament we discussed students' return to university in the Commons. Obviously the short term challenges have been much discussed and debated and we need to do all we can to offer the best possible university experience whilst protecting student's wellbeing...
I wanted to ask the Secretary of State about the longer term. How does this pandemic factor in our decisions about the role of universities in our society and our education system? Can he use this current challenge to properly examine the options available to our young people leaving school and rebalance things, offering the best information and options across HE, FE, vocational and technical training etc... I hope so.
