Ben Bradley MP is pleased to support Safer Gambling Week 2022, a campaign created to start a national conversation around safer betting and gaming.
Safer Gambling Week 2022, which takes place from 17th – 23rd October, is the public face of a year-round commitment to promoting safer gambling. More than 100,000 staff at thousands of betting and gaming venues and online sites are taking part.
The campaign is also backed by the Gambling Commission and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
As in previous years, Safer Gambling Week 2022 is led by leading trade associations - the Betting and Gaming Council, the Bingo Association and BACTA. The goal is to trigger a national conversation about safer gambling, highlighting the tools, advice and help available to customers, and the initiatives being taken by operators to promote social responsibility throughout the year.
The key themes for SG Week 22 are:
- Only spend what you can afford
- Set your limits for time and money
- Gambling is not the answer to any problem
- Gambling shouldn’t interfere with your personal relationships
Commenting on this Ben Bradley MP said:
“Great to be supporting Safer Gambling Week. It is crucial we spread the word about safer gambling and what tools are available so that punters can enjoy gambling safely, aware of the risks and knowing when to stop and reach out for support.”
