Welcome to my page, full of information about the upcoming selection process for the Conservative candidate to be the Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire.
Please us this page to contact me, or find links to key information as local Members look to make their choice. It's vital we choose the right candidate, who is able to demonstrate that they can fight and win this election, bit also importantly that they are capable of acting as the region's Mayor.
My experience speaks for itself, having built a reputation as a campaigner over many years, and having spent much of my professional life developing and building regional Combined Authorities. In my day job, I act as a specialist adviser to businesses on how to understand and navigate regional Mayors and decision makers.
My family hails from Bourne, and I live on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border, having lived and worked in Grantham previously, including stepping in to support the MP during serious illness and acting on his behalf on campaigns such as the fight to save Grantham A&E in 2016/17. I play hockey in Lincoln, and my business is also based there. The biggest project I have been working on in recent years is STEP Fusion, a £20bn Fusion energy investment near Gainsborough.
Clearly nobody can be truly local to every community in such a large area as Greater Lincolnshire, from Scunthorpe to Stamford, I have a strong local connection and understanding of some of the key challenges and opportunities that the new Mayor will face.
In the coming weeks I aim to demonstrate to Conservative members that I have the right experience, understanding, and the drive to deliver, that makes me the ideal Conservative candidate in this election.
